CNC milling
Prismatic parts milled on machining centres to the dimensions and tolerances on your drawing, from a single prototype to regular series production.
What we mill
Milling is for parts that do not rotate. The part is clamped to the table and a rotating cutter removes material. The parts we make most often:
- Mounting plates and brackets: drilled and pocketed plates for motors, gearboxes, cylinders and sensors.
- Housings and covers: pump, reducer and gearbox housings, bearing covers, seal seats.
- Guides, slides and supports: machined surfaces for linear motion components.
- Mould components: cores, ejector plates, cutting and bending elements.
- Profiled parts: pockets, slots, steps, countersinks and angled faces.
We pick the machine and the workshop according to the size and precision of the part.
Materials, tolerances and finish
We work with structural steels (S235, S355), through-hardening steels (C45, 42CrMo4), case-hardening steels, stainless steels (304, 316, 420), aluminium alloys (6061, 7075), bronze, brass and engineering plastics such as POM and PA.
Where the drawing gives no tolerance, ISO 2768-m applies. Tight fits such as H7 bores or h6 shafts are held when the drawing says so. Standard machining gives around Ra 3.2; lower values come from fine passes, reaming or grinding.
Heat treatments (hardening, nitriding) and surface treatments (coating, anodising, phosphating, paint) are arranged as part of the job.
What we need for a quote
- A drawing: PDF, DWG, DXF or STEP with dimensions, tolerances, material and finish.
- Quantity: price depends heavily on it — set-up dominates single pieces, machining time dominates series.
- A sample or photos: for parts without a drawing.
- Deadline: urgent jobs go in a separate queue; tick "my machine is down" in the form.
