CNC turning
We produce your rotating parts on CNC lathes: from a single spare to series production, in steel, stainless, bronze or plastic.
What we turn
On a lathe the part rotates while the tool removes material. Every rotationally symmetric part is made this way:
- Shafts and pins: stepped shafts, keyed shafts, tapered and threaded ends.
- Bushings and sleeves: bronze, brass, steel or plastic bearings and guides.
- Adapters and fittings: threaded connections for hydraulic and pneumatic lines.
- Flanged parts and covers: with seal seats, bearing seats and spigots.
- Special nuts and fasteners: in non-standard sizes and thread pitches.
Threading, grooving, drilling, reaming and countersinking are done in the same set-up, which keeps dimensions consistent and the price down.
Materials and precision
Free-cutting steels (11SMn30), structural and through-hardening steels (S355, C45, 42CrMo4), stainless steels (303, 304, 316), aluminium, bronze, brass and POM/PA plastics.
ISO 2768-m covers standard work. Bearing and bushing fits need h6/H7 and seal seats need a low roughness; we hold these when the drawing states them. Hardened shafts are ground after machining.
What we need for a quote
- A drawing or a dimensioned sketch: diameters, lengths, steps, threads and tolerances.
- A sample: we take the dimensions off the old part and restore worn sections.
- Material and quantity: if you are not sure, describe where the part runs and we suggest one.
